Wire Drawing Drum
The drum is made of ZG45 cast steel with a standard diameter of Φ560mm. The surface of the drum is treated with tungsten carbide spray welding (thickness 0.3mm, height 80mm), and the service life is about three years (22,000 hours). The inside of the drum is sprayed with corrosion-resistant paint to prevent scaling, and the inner wall of the water ring and the bearing seat is painted with corrosion-resistant epoxy primer to ensure long-lasting corrosion resistance and low scaling. The drum adopts double cooling when working: the inside is a narrow gap water cooling design, and the outside is cooled by strong wind to ensure the stability of the drum and wire drawing temperature.
The wire drawing die is made of high crystal (PCD) material and can usually support about 300 tons of wire drawing. The die diameter is selected according to different wire drawing requirements, such as 5.8mm, 5.5mm, 5.0mm, 3.7mm, 3.1mm, 2.5mm, etc., to ensure that the size and quality of the cold-drawn wire meet the requirements. PCD wire drawing dies are suitable for processing a variety of metal wires such as steel wire, stainless steel wire, copper wire, aluminum wire, etc. Its high hardness and wear resistance ensure the die maintains a long life and stable drawing accuracy in high-strength drawing.
Wire Drawing Die Box
We have two designs for wire drawing die boxes: ordinary drawing die boxes and rotary drawing die boxes. The rotary die box design allows the wire drawing die to rotate during the drawing process, ensuring the uniform shape of the steel wire and effectively avoiding elliptical shapes. The die box adopts a welded structure and is divided into two chambers: a cooling water chamber (cooling the wire drawing die) and a lubricating powder chamber (placing wire drawing powder). The die box adopts a direct invasive cooling design, which continuously cools down through a low-pressure and high-flow cooling water chamber to provide a stable cooling environment, thereby improving the accuracy of the steel wire during the drawing process.
Generally, the first pass uses an FAF107 reducer, and the subsequent passes are all belt drives. The combination of reducer and belt drive can reduce the tension during equipment operation, improve system stability and equipment life, and is suitable for long-term continuous work. All bearings are made of domestic high-quality brands with high strength and long life to support high-load transmission requirements.
Electrical Control System (PLC+Frequency Inverter+Motor)
The whole system adopts AC variable frequency speed regulation + PLC control + fieldbus technology + color touch screen, equipped with a control cabinet and a main operating table. The whole system adopts an adaptive control mode, which can automatically adjust the drawing speed according to the change of mold aperture, ensure the stability and continuity of the whole drawing process, effectively reduce human intervention and improve production efficiency.
